Szczecin, the capitol of West Pomerania Province, is a city as beautiful, as old. This is a place where history and tradition meet with modernity to create balanced integrity. Multi-stored, modern skyscrapers and bordering with them humble tenement houses, picturesque squares and new technical parks – this is the sight of one of the biggest cities of Pomerania.
A very important element on the map of Szczecin is Grunwald Square – if you believe an urban legend, it is the middle of the city. Our apartment is less than a hundred metres away from this place, so it can be said that the apartment is located in the very centre of Szczecin. Another important area in a proximity of the apartment is Kasprowicz's Park – the biggest public park in Szczecin. Independently of weather and the time of year it amazes with diversity of plants. There is Helena Majdaniec's Summer Theater in the park – it hosts numeral concerts and cabarets every year.
Rose Garden can be found at the edge of Kasprowicz's Park – more than a hundred of rose species bloom there each spring.
